<p>Wellesley is my ABSOLUTE #1 choice (I regret not applying ED) and please be harsh on your evaluation because I would love realistic feedback. J Thanks! </p>

<p>Demographics: </p>

<p>-Asian (Thai) girl from SoCal – although I’m asian by blood, I’m more Hispanic by culture because all my relatives (step) in the US are hispanic (more fluent in Spanish than Thai <-- very embarassing)
- lived in a rural thai rice farm for 8 years with my grandparents
- have been exposed to Buddhism, Muslim, and Catholicism
-Low-income ~ middle income
-First-generation Thai immigrant (US citizen now though)
-Very competitive public high school (3,800 students, and 50% of student pop. are Asian L)</p>

<p>GPA:
Unweighted: 3.65 (upward trend) </p>

<p>SAT I: 1950 (640 CR, 680 M, 630 W); one sitting
SAT subject:
-US history: 630
-Math level II: 650
-Literature: 630
-Chemistry: 680</p>

<p>EC's:
Student Sierra Club (co-pres) 11,12
Interact Club (Vice-pres) 9,10,11,12
Student Council: Apache Commission 12 (raise awareness of the indigenous White Mountain Apache tribe and hold annual toy and jacket drive)

<p>Recs: good and very good from another teacher</p>

<p>AP tests:
English lang (3) ßvery sad since I got an A in the course
Chem (3)
US History (4) ß did not qualify to take the AP course so I self-studied a couple weeks before ap test</p>

<p>Essay: hopefully at least decent, well, I sort of like it but still unsatisfied (haven’t turned it in yet because I still want to improve in this area)</p>

<p>Current Courses and grades so far </p>

<p>Spanish 3 = A
AP Gov/Pol = A
AP Environmental Sci = A
AP English Lit = A
AP Calc AB = B
Business Management = A</p>

<p>Field of interest: It would definitely have to be Environmental Justice/Policy</p>

<p>to say you have been exposed to "Muslim" is incorrect. "Islam" is the religion, a "Muslim" is a follower of Islam. your stats are not strong for Wellesley, you are in the lower group of applicants. but you have an interesting background, and if you write strong essays i think you will have a fairly good shot.</p>

<p>lol yeah, people get that confused a lot for some reason ( i used to be muslim)
My friend would always say, "I know you're Islam."
AndI'll be like NO IT'S MUSLIM
hehe</p>
