Not atletic son ,liberal interested in theater and psych-fit for Amherst

We are going on the junior college tour of the northeast during spring break. My son is non atletic, liberal into theater and psych. Would Amherst be too "preppie’ for him.? we are also looking at Tufts,Brandeis. Any suggestions for other schools in addition to a safety. Thanks

would deffinitely fit in, though there are many athletes, there are plenty who are not. And they all mix. By no means does it matter.

as far as safeties go, what is he interested in?

You might look at Wesleyan. Not so reachy, more alternative/liberal atmosphere, I've heard. Don't know about the psych department though.

LOL:

btw, yes Wesleyan has an excellent neuroscience/psch program. :p

Description also says "Vassar" to me. Excellent theater. Think Meryl Streep.

He would fit in just fine. I am very much not preppy and have never so much as played little league and I love it here.

vassar- could be a good fit

Not only is D not preppie (major FA student), but the least athletic person I know, and she loves it at Amherst!
