should I worry? Anyone else not contacted yet?

I haven't been contacted either. I don't think we should be worried yet, but I hope I get contacted soon...

i havent either. my friends turned their apps in by november and got interviews in dec. i turned it like 2 days before the deadline and its February...

or do they ask only possible candidates........

Hey, you should take a look at http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/harvard-university/448149-how-your-harvard-interview-9.html

I think this post should answer your question
i just called harvard. they said their still contacting people for interviews, so don't lose hope if you haven't heard from them yet. they told me to call harvard again if I still haven't heard anything by Feb 20 again, want to reiterate that interview times are random and whether you get one depends on your geographic area/alumni distribution. it is not in any way a sign of how qualified you are

I called today and was told we have until Feb 20 to be contacted.

I'm glad to hear that, because I was disappointed that I didn't get to do any interviews this year. :) Maybe there is still hope.

What about International Interview, anyone still not been contacted yet? I'm very confused because it is posted in the college's website that int'l applicants must initiate an interview but when I sent an email to the office of intladm I was replied that we would be contacted. They did not give me any contacts to reach for the interview. Should I call them or wait?

They wrote:
"International interviews are conducted only after October 1st. Please reply to this message and include the name of the country from which you are applying. Applicants will only be contacted after their application materials have been received and processed by the Admissions Office."

Which country do you reside in? If it's not on the list that comes in that email, then you might want to call them. I've had some experiences with that email - I sent my country name in the email back and they replied with the same one, though I didn't place my country name in the subject line, maybe that's why. They should respond to you with the Harvard Club of your country and you send an email to that Club and an interviewer should reply back.

if your country is not listed in the harvard web , it just saids you will be contacted for an interview only if admissions require more info.

anyone from East-Asia been contacted for an interview?

My country is in the list, and I also replied but received the same response. Did you reply the second time and include the country name in the subject line, Poh125?

I haven't either!! I'm an International too!
And, aww, Feb 20 is coming...

agldro, where is your country?

Brazil
Is it bad?

is your country listed in the H web for the international interview?
if it is not listed the adm commitee will contact H alumi for an interview IF they need more information on a particular student.

I really do not know if it is a sign that the student interviewed will have better chance being admitted because there are no statistics.
what I think is if the adm. committee see that your application is strong and see no need for an interview than that student will be admitted without an interview.
Does anyone on this board have any Idea or experience with interview=acceptance where the country is not listed in the international interview site?

J mom, thanks for your response! (Actually I couldn't see the Harvard website for intl interviews (I think it's my firefox), so I didn't want to say just a dumb "huh? A list?")

No, my country isn't listed. I've sent an e-mail for them - should I still have hope?

if it is not listed than you just have to wait and see if they want more information through interview.

lasdkhgladsgh i still haven't been contacted yet :(

pwafflesprinkle, neither have I. I will call them tomorrow. I talked to a friend who applied last year. She said she had her Ivy interviews in March/April.... so at this point... i. just. don't. know.
