Not CSU eligible. What does that mean?

I met all of the basic CSU requirements. Took the golden four and completed all of my basic requirements. What does that mean? Does it mean that I’ve been rejected?

Which CSU notified you of not being CSU eligible?

Do you meet all the requirements? Did you check your student portal for items on your “to do list” like submitting your transcript if needed?

Transfer students are eligible for admission with junior status with 60 or more transferable semester units or 90 quarter units if they:

-Maintain a minimum college GPA of 2.00 or better in all transferable college units attempted.
-Are in good standing at the last college or university attended, e.g., eligible to re-enroll.
-Will complete the four basic subjects in English Composition, College Mathematics, Speech Communication, and Critical Reasoning, which are part of the overall general education requirements.
-Will complete additional general education units that comprise the total CSU general education pattern of 39 units.

San Jose state. I have frequently checked my student. I have even more then 100 units completed. Took the the golden four. And have GPA of a 2.98, I will even have my associates transfer degree by June.

This is from the SJSU website:
** APPLICATION DENIED, WITHDRAWN OR CANCELLED

Denied (DENIED) or Denied (DCSU)
Applicant does not meet minimum CSU eligibility requirements.**

Did you complete the mandatory supplemental?

Do you have any upper division course units in the 100 units completed?

I would contact SJSU admission tomorrow to find out exactly why you were denied. Hopefully it is a mistake on their part.

Yes I completed my supplemental application the moment they sent it to me. I have completed lower and some upper division in the 100 quarter units that I have completed. I’m definitely going to contact the SJSU admission tomorrow and find out whats going on. I’m sure it’s just a mistake on their part. There’s just no way I would have something left unfulfilled it doesn’t make sense. I made sure of that.

Please update and best of luck.

Definitely will. Crossing my fingers that this will just be a mistake on their part and I would be considered for admission this coming fall

Did you complete all of your A-G requirements with a C- or better? For your college courses, did you code them correctly using A-G? If you took geometry in 8th grade, did you list it?

I contacted the CSU and it turns out that I accidentally converted my quarter units to semester units on my supplemental application. They told me that I should be fine as long as I sign the appeal form, write a letter explaining my mistake, so they could calculate my units correctly and send out my official transcript before March 13.

Great news.
