Not eligible for SAT fee waiver but still need help

I’m a junior in high school, along with my two sisters (we’re triplets) and my younger brother, who is a sophomore. My parents are divorced and my mom is having trouble paying for all of our upcoming testing. The AP tests alone will cost nearly $700. Plus, we’re taking DELF, SAT and ACTs at least once. According to the federal income guidelines, we do not qualify for waivers (although we’re close) but this is really a hardship for her. Yes, my dad will help, but I’m wondering if anyone got a waiver from the College Board even if they don’t fit the typical criteria? If so, how?

According to the Collegeboard, you are eligible for a fee waiver if you say “yes” to any of these terms:

-You’re enrolled in or eligible to participate in the National School Lunch Program (NSLP).
-Your annual family income falls within the Income Eligibility Guidelines set by the USDA Food and Nutrition Service.
-You’re enrolled in a federal, state, or local program that aids students from low-income families (e.g., Federal TRIO programs such as Upward Bound).
-Your family receives public assistance.
-You live in federally subsidized public housing or a foster home, or are homeless.
-You are a ward of the state or an orphan.

If you don’t abide by at least one of those terms, I doubt you would be able to receive a fee waiver. Speak to your High School Counselor(s) if you have any further questions regarding this.
