Not enough room.

Who else is finding that there isn't enough room to write positions held or awards recieved on the application under activities? It seems like i'm going to the additional page for every activity. Anybody else feel the same way?

I don't think very many people will have an entire page for one activity. I doubt many people will go beyond an single additional page for ALL additional information.

Perhaps the current application has changed, but two years ago my S had room for 7 additional pages of information in the supplemental information section. For elaboration on Activities and work experience he made sure the labeling corresponded with that in main application, e.g. work experience, activities, etc. He also grouped activities by kind, sports with sports, music with music, academic EC's together, etc. to make it easier for the admission folks to see the interests and the commitment.

Could be totally off, but most of the kids at my high school who had to add supplemental lists (brag sheets essentially) didn't get into the top schools despite having similar GPA/SAT scores and those who got into HYPS and other top 10-20 schools just put down the really important things and didn't need the extra room.

Yeah, breadth is good, but you don't want to water down your application with too many activities.
