So I'm a senior right now in high school in New York, and I'm having a bit of trouble knowing which colleges I should be thinking are matches for me. I am interested in majoring in Finance.

GPA: My school goes by a 100 point scale, so it's 92.8 unweighted.

SAT: 2060 (660 CR 720M 690W) I am going to take it again in october, I should be able to get above a 2150 next time. hopefully.

SATII: MathII- 800 Chemistry- 670

AP's: US History- 4 World History- 5, I am taking micro/macro and Calc BC right now

My school is extremely competitive. There are so many applying for AP classes that most never get in. Sophmore year I was only offered 1 AP class and that is World History. I was lucky to be able to get two AP classes in senior year. Spots are not offered based on grades, although you need to have above a specific average to be able to get in the lottery for that AP.

Extracurriculars: Used to take taekwondo lessons, taught kids and adults, earned a Black Belt 2nd Dan and participated in a national tournament although I didn't place in the top 3.

Worked in a community service program creating fund raisers such as scavenger hunts and assisting in creating a walkathon.

Recieved an Honorable Mention in the Toshiba Exploravision Competition for coming up with an idea for an invention.

Worked in School Library for about 10 hours a week for a whole year.

I don't want to go to a small liberal arts college, and it doesn't matter where I go and the cost does not matter either.
I know NYU Stern is a great school except I really don't want to stay with my parents through college and renting an apartment or dorming is not necessary as I already live in NY.

I have a question about preferred admit to UMich Ross: does it matter whether or not I apply for early action for the preferred admit to Ross?

Thanks!
