I'm sure this has been posted a lot of times before..

but I haven't received any decisions from the colleges that have released theirs.

UC Irvine started sending out decisions a long time back, and I still haven't heard..idk if its me or they just haven't gotten to my app yet?

Most of the people who applied like last week of November or so have already been accepted, and I'm like one out of 2-3 people in my school who still hasn't heard back. Does this mean I'm rejected (just asking generally, not about UCI)?

What do you guys think? I don't want to post this in the irvine thread since they get these types of questions a lot but people just say to wait.

It's really disheartening to see everyone else get accepted....

Call the admissions office and ask them to confirm the status of your application. Is there a chance that you forgot to send them part of the supplemental info (such as high school transcript, teacher rec., or SAT/ACT score)?

Hi, I believe that UC (UCI, more specifically) will send out their decisions in batches throughout the month. When I applied Berkeley and LA (I think LA) had a notification date and did not release anything until that date/time. I guess UCI is releasing it in batches, rather then releasing all at once. My guess is that they don’t want to overload the servers. Don’t worry, you can still get accepted, not hearing back early doesn’t mean you can’t get in.

The difference between getting accepted to Irvine now and going to a CCC for 2 years and then going to a better UC school is savings 10s of thousands of dollars and getting a more valuable degree.

Because community colleges are wonderful learning environments, with plenty of exciting opportunities! Plus, when you’re done I can sell you a bridge!

Yeah amarkov it’s not like you have a huge chance of getting into UCLA or UCB as long as you work hard in a CCC, nah community college has zero opportunities it’s a dead end.
