Not reporting a score of 3 on an AP exam?

So I got a 3 on the AP Biology exam. It is my only 3 and I was thinking of reporting only my higher scores. However, I heard that if you don't report the score then they would just assume you failed it. I got a 720 on the SAT II Biology and received a certificate in the mail saying I'm an AP Scholar with Distinction, so would they still assume I failed knowing that? Is it better to just report the scores so they don't think the worst?

The only reason I don't want to report it is because I wanted to major in something biology related and I don't want it to seem like I'm poor in biology :l

Your worries are probably unfounded. You (usually) don’t have to declare a major until end of freshman/sophomore year in college, so colleges won’t really care what you want to major in yet, and how you did on AP tests relating to it.
And plus, a 720 SAT II Bio score definitely outshines the AP Bio score.

My D didn’t report any of her AP scores, good or bad, and I don’t think it made any difference. Got into several top schools without reporting them.
