I was wondering - is it necessary to report GPA on the common application, even though colleges will receive transcripts? Thanks!!
Not at all. When you can, definitely report it out of courtesy, but if your school has a weird GPA scale that isn’t described by any of the descriptions they provide (as my school was with their weird 4.0 +0.2 weighted scale… I don’t know), then it’s better to just leave it blank.
