Not sending all SAT scores to colleges that require all SAT Scores Reported

I wonder if an applicant doesn’t send his/her not so good SAT Scores to colleges that require all scores reported.
Considering the applicant took SAT again, got excellent scores, and also scores exceptionally high on ACT.
Will CollegeBoard report this violation to the institution/college? I have read that CollegeBoard doesn’t disclose this information to colleges, but for colleges that require all test scores reported, will CollegeBoard report them this violation?

It really doesnt make sense not to send all scores when they’re explicitly requested, schools will only consider best scores.

whether or not it is discovered you seem to be encouraging your student to be deceitful.

While it may sound like a good idea to hide a bad score, trust me it is not; Even if you are admitted, if it is found out later you could have your acceptance rescinded.

You should send all scores. If a college finds out through the College Board or anything else, the acceptance will be rescinded. Dishonesty o/w any good test scores.

@sunshine232 Should I also send them my SAT Scores from old 2400? I am considering sending them all my new SAT Scores and SAT Subject Test Scores.

Yes, send all scores from 2400. When they say send all, they mean ALL.

@Endora That is a good idea! However, if I submit my ACT Scores and my SAT2 Scores from Maths 2 and Physics, am I obliged to send all scores from SAT Subject Tests only or both SAT1 and SAT2?

ALL SCORES. It couldn’t be clearer.

UC’s require all SAT or ACT scores. You do not have to send both.

@CADREAMIN Does it apply even if I wish to send my ACT Scores and only my SAT 2 Scores? (Am I also obliged to send my SAT 1 Scores)

@Gumbymom Does it apply even if I wish to send my ACT Scores and only my SAT 2 Scores? (Am I also obliged to send my SAT 1 Scores). I am considering Stanford.

For the UC’s, you can send your ACT scores and then select just the SAT subject 2 test scores you wish to send. Both son’s did this and they got acceptances to the UC’s. SAT 2 subject tests are recommended not required.

@Gumbymom Hey, thank you. By the way, I am considering Stanford. Any suggestions?

Why on earth would anyone: 1) prove to admissions that they cannot follow simple instructions 2) be deceitful and 3) take a risk that an acceptance can be revoked? Read the school’s requirements carefully and follow them.

For Stanford, you need to send all scores. From Stanford website:

Applicants must submit all SAT scores and all ACT scores directly from the testing agencies. The only exceptions are tests taken for the purpose of talent programs in middle or junior high school (for example, Johns Hopkins Center for Talented Youth and Duke University’s Talent Identification Program). These test scores do not have to be sent to Stanford.

SAT Subject Tests
SAT Subject Tests are optional. Because SAT Subject Test scores can highlight your areas of strength, we welcome the self-reporting of these results in your application.

@happy1 @Gumbymom Yale also asks to submit all scores from either ACT or SAT. I understand that. I am confused about Score Choice Policy for SAT Subject Tests. If I send all my ACT Scores and my SAT Subject Test Scores (because they are recommended), do I need to include scores of SAT1??

I am considering sending them all SAT Subject Tests Scores but do I also need to send them SAT1 Scores if I’ve already sent them my ACT Scores?

If there is any doubt in your mind call the admission office to gst clarification.
