I’m scheduled to take the SAT for the second time tomorrow, but I’m thinking about just not going. I received a 2070 on my first try and I haven’t studied at all so I don’t really think it’s worth it. However, I was just wondering if there was any penalty for not taking it outside of the financial loss. Do I have to cancel my scores or will nothing be sent automatically? If anyone has any insight into this it would be a lot of help.
You can reschedule it for 28 dollars, but no refund.
No penalty. No one will ever know that you registered but did not sit for the exam. As Confused posted above, you will have a credit of $28 in your College Board account that you can apply to a future exam.
