Not so much threads about Csu Chico.

I know a lot people on here like going to heavily populated schools. Rural schools such as Chico and Humbolt are normally on peoples safety schools. Chico is a school I really want to go into. Actually it's number one.

Does anyone know how competitive it is to get in? If it even is competitive? I'm not a local but I'm in state.

Do they easily accept transfers based on high gpas? I mean what's the admission down low on this school? I tried searching for some RECENT posts about this school but came up with nothing that's really resourceful as far as admission goes.

I know someone who had a 3.3 overall GPA and got into Chico as a transfer student last year. He was an instate student but not local to Chico itself.

I have found transfer stats for other CSUs but haven’t looked for Chico – do a web scour and see if you can dig up last Fall’s stats (quite a few CSUs publish them online but it takes some digging.)

CSU is moderately competitive but not crazily so. But of course, it shifts slightly every year.

When are you applying? (I thought the deadline passed already for next Fall?)

Oh i applied already but i applied not even knowing its statistics because I couldn’t find any online! I’ve found some for other colleges but rarely for CHICO.

I also noticed not a lot of people on here have Chico as a first choice so I can’t really get an information on here

I currently attend Chico State; pm me if you have any questions
