Okay, two things. So my parents decided to put off their taxes for as long as possible until I made them, and I submitted my IDOC information on February 29, two of my due dates were March 1. Will they still count it as on time even if after three days it has not processed for some reason?
Second question, I realized there was a document on IDOC that I forgot to do, and the deadline for the 1 school that requires it has passed. Any chance I can still do that?
Did you ask the school?
@Madison85 I plan on doing that tomorrow if they’re still not processed. I probably still will because of the other document.
For what it is worth, Villanova was wanted idoc submitted by Mar 1. I talked to the Fin Aid office and explained that Schwab wasn’t getting paperwork out until Feb 29, so I can’t do taxes by Mar 1. They said no problem do them as soon as you can, up to a couple of weeks later. It just delays getting the Fin Aid offer from them…
I had a similar situation (submitted docs, IDOC didn’t process them by 3/1). When I called IDOC, they said (who knows if this is true) that the schools use the submission date and not the processing date. I called two schools today, who assured me that their receipt of the docs a day or two after the deadline was not a problem. FWIW.
