I was admitted to Berkeley in L&S and submitted my SIR.
On my UC application, I put the 6 AP Classes I am in this year as planned AP Tests, as I did not know which ones I would take.
In March I decided I would only take 3 of them, so I only signed up and paid for 3.
Can UC Berkeley rescind me because I am not taking the other 3 tests?
Should I let them know of the change?
yes, they can. I would contact them ASAP and let them know of your schedule change.
If they are like UCLA, they will only care that you completed the classes, not took the tests. But you should definitely contact them to verify.
I’ve read in several places that the AP test is not required, only the course needs to be completed with a passing grade. However, it’s probably best to contact the school for absolute certainty.
