I took the old SAT so I would not have to take the new one, but my school registered me and my entire grade to take the “School Day” one. Obviously I am not going to take it tomorrow and am not going to school tomorrow. I could not find a way to cancel my registration, so I do not really know what the best course of action is. If I do not take it tomorrow, is that not recorded as me taking it on that day? Or should I cancel the score I never got afterwards? I just do not want this test to ever show up on my record. Thanks.
Yeah, I heard the flu is going around. I hope you feel better soon!
@c011e9e Not sure if you’re being sarcastic or not. If not, I’m not taking it because I am unable to do so, I’m taking it because I’ve already taken the old SAT and don’t want to risk getting a lower score on the new SAT. I just don’t know what to do…
Unless I’m missing something, if you don’t take it, you won’t get a score. It’s not like when you don’t take a quiz in Spanish and therefore get a zero. You need to actually submit something to get a score. No answer sheet = no score.
Yes, sarcasm. I am in agreement with @skieurope you would need to take the test to get a lower score. I’m saying don’t go/don’t take it. Call in sick, do whatever. It won’t hurt you to not take it, could hurt you if you do and get a lower score.
@skieurope Yeah I thought that is what probably happens but I wanted to make sure.
