I am currently in my second semester of my Freshman year. I am going to a satellite campus of Penn State. Next year I am attending Temple University. I paid my tuition and housing, scheduled advising and orientation. But I have run into a problem. This last semester at school has been horrendous, firstly my mother and father (whom I was living with) got divorced and I chose to live with my mother because my father ended up going to jail. At this time my mother kicked me out and at this point I found a full time job, and living arrangements, and continued going to school. Then I lost my job and was essentially living out of my car for about 3 weeks. I then started living with a friend, but I was then in a car accident, I was fine but I had no transportation. All in all I missed a lot of classes but not enough to get kicked out, along with several assignments. As a result of all this my GPA has died. First semester I had a 3.87 and now I have about a week left and I have straight D's. So my problem. On my acceptance letter temple said that it reserves the right to review my accepted status when it receives my current semester grades, which I must submit again. Can I just not send my last quarter grades and just go of the ones that I had the semester before. All the classes I took this semester were "what are my interests classes" to confirm a major. None of the classes I chose I like and plan on making my major, so essentially they don't matter. So I guess what I want to know is if I can just not transfer my last semester.

They will need to see all of your grades. You can’t just send them part of your records. Talk to the people at Temple about your specific situation with this “semester from hell”. They may be able to work with you.

Good luck!
