Ok so I haven't recieved any mail from Andover meaning no rejections, no accpetences, and no waitlists. What does that mean?
Is it geographical (I live in south FL) or is it a rejection, like its snail mail so it won't arrive quickly.
yeah just wondering. actually more like freaking out, any response would be helpful thanks!

None of the people in North Carolina so far have gotten mail from Andover, either, and we’re way further up than you :p

i am in the same boat with DA!

If you guys check the MyAndover website, it says that admissions were sent out today, March 10th, o_O So maybe the reason why some people have gotten theirs is because they live closer to school than we do?

Me too, from Georgia. Girlasmuse, that makes sense… Annd plus to cut costs, it’s probably not really fast either. Maybe FedEx ground? :P

Deny letter mailed today, received because we are only an hour away and our mail lady doesn’t come until late afternoon ( second shift, Im guessing).

Yepp, that’s probably it! Also, if you look at everyone who said they already got their Andover letter, they all live less than an hour away or so. So us people who live further away can relax for a little bit =] Well, at least until we get them tomorrow!

Good luck to everyone!

Yeah I was freaking out all day today for nothing! I had standerdized testing and all I could thin k about was rushing home to my mailbox, anyway good luck to all the people in the south and wherever else people are!!!

I live in South Florida as well and haven’t received anything from Andover either.

Numerous other posts have stated that Andover sent out their acceptance packets yesterday via FedEx and that if you did not receive anything today (10th) then you are not in the “accepted” pool. Supposedly, that’s how it played out last year, too.

I’m always of the belief that no news is good news.

Well I hope that isn’t the case. I also heard that it was sent out today (the 10th) and so all admissions decisions whether they be acceptances, rejections, or waitlists will arrive tomorrow.

Dude, I live in CONNECTICUT and I haven’t gotten it yet! ;)

Im from Indonesia. I can open my MyAndover, but I just can’t summon my courage. It’s better for me to receive rejection by mail. I’m 99% sure I won’t be accepted, after my Exeter rejection…so basically I’ve forgotten bout all these. Won’t expect to find any Fedex guy anywhere near my house. I’ll just move on.

vermont and havent gotten it.
depends what time your mail comes as well, just be patient!

Monochrome, I think you’ll feel a lot better if you just check MyAndover. I mean, moving on is great if you’re rejected, but – what if you’re not? ;)

I will not give up until I see the thin envelope in my mailbox.

monochrome, really, it’s not a big deal. I mean, you still have a local high school, right?

I really hope that no mail today doesn’t mean rejected… to cut costs, i heard that they’re not using overnight. And plus they sent them out this morning…

I believe that all of the people who haven’t recieved admissions decisions should keep their chin up and just be postive. Have faith in yourself, and have the courage if you are rejected to get back up and maybe try again next year.

Idk lemons…I am school. What if I suddenly burst out crying? I just want to congratulate everybody…you all have been great and amazing…and I’m pretty sure I’m rejected. Sorry for being such a pessimist…

I’m also fairly sure that I will be rejected, but I’m not going to completely give up until I have the letter in my hand. Then again I tend to be optomistic.
