yes! I just realized that february ends on the 28th so it’s like the deadline is closer in some weird way…

^lol. was literally thinking the same thing.

haha I agree with nne718. Everyone asks me if I have a college picked out yet, and they usually ask at least once a week, and I always give the same answer: “I’ll find out in May.” It gets a bit wearing

lol yeah I just got asked again last night. I was like, “Who knows?” And my confidence is getting lower with each day that passes, so I’m focusing more on liking my safety.

Lol I have recently banned my friends (who already know which state school their are going to) from asking where I am going next year. Because I am really, really tired of my adult friends/coworkers asking the question, “Where are you going to school next year?”. I do not know, and I will not know for many weeks. Please stop asking me every day like it magically changed overnight. It’s making February creep by very, very slowly.

Who cares if people are asking you where you are going to college… Stop being so sensitive and take it as a compliment that they think you will achieve great things.

I can’t speak for others, but I’m not sensitive or offended about people asking me where I’m going. It just amplifies my impatience, because I haven’t received any decisions yet.

^ That describes me too. Not sensitive or offended or anything, just a typically teenager waiting for March 30th :P

“Did you get any offers yet?”
“no…”

“So did you get any offers yet?”
“no…I get decisions at the end of march.”

“Any offers from US (I’m int’l) yet?”
“no…I…”

Feels like I was rejected already when I have to say the “no…”. lol

Fatum - Everything will be fine. Don’t worry. You will get in a great school!

I am already incredibly anxious, even though I know my chances are slim. I’m already in MIT through EA in December, and yet I’m still freaking out as though I weren’t in college already!

what are your stats Trackgirl?

How many days left? 35? ><

March is going to be a very long month…

The thing is, for some reason my mind is set on the notion that the more times per day I check CC, the sooner I’ll find out my admissions decision. Good thing March will be a busy month for me…

33 days 1 hour 55 minutes and 30 seconds

“The thing is, for some reason my mind is set on the notion that the more times per day I check CC, the sooner I’ll find out my admissions decision.”
SAME

March will only be busy for me after the 18th >.<. Those first 3 weeks will be torture, seeing as my main EC is finished and I have a research paper due the 18th (it’s actually due the 21st, but I will be visiting a college then, so the 18th for me haha I get to be having fun when everyone else is working on their paper).

Oh lord… I still need to send out my IDOC package. Yes, I know it’s supposed to be “received” by March 1, but I’m international and our taxes come late! I e-mailed my schools and they all said it’s fine, so I guess it’s okay.

ANYWHO.

Yes, I understand everyone’s pain.

“So where are you going this fall?”
“I don’t know. It depends.”

“Have you gotten in anywhere?”
“Yes-3 early acceptances from Canadian universities, but no likelies from the U.S.”
“Oh.”
“… yeah.”

Hey RainbowSprinkles - is it a problem that the IDOC is late? I’m kinda in the same situation as you, my parents are going to a CPA to do their 2010 taxes this week so I won’t be able to get them in by the 1st. But I’ll send then as soon as I can…

so did people decide it was april 30 this year?
