So, okay--I'm hearing so many different things about ED/EA notification dates. If a school says it notifies 12/15, then is that the latest date? Some people are saying emails are sent out by 12/10. Any thoughts, guys?

Please- you think you're paranoid- there's only one school that I'll find out about before March/April. I'm dying here! If its a reject, just let me know so I can start the grieving process!

i think its AROUND 12/15, so i think we can safely say between 12/10 and 12/20 for anywhere in the country assuming you have a normal post office.

so as a general rule, you should receive a notification 5 days before or 5 days after the date? some of schools i'm applying to have a vague notification date of "mid-January," which i can safely say between Jan 10 and Jan 20 (since mid-January would be Jan 15)?

ugh the application deadline for the UC schools is November 30... yet they don't notify you of admission till March or April... i am DYING here. but at least i'll receive some notifications in January!

I guess i was wondering the same thing mostly because i want to flaunt my decision (whatever it is) so that people wont speculate as to what really was the case.....and by flaunt i mean posting it up on my dorm room door...i leave school on the 16th and id love to share that special day with the people who have to wait until then as welll....best of luck to all the ED'ers...holla at me.

But paranoid and DYING.....are you serious? Theres plenty of other things more important than college and perhaps you should consider that your missing out on alot just because of a letter/packet/whatever....settle down the decision will be the same whether you worry about it or not
