<p>if you apply early action or early decision to a college or university, do they tell you of your acceptance before the actual notification deadline. Someone told me they send all the people they rejected on the actual notification deadline date. Please someone help me clarify....</p>
<p>Depends on the school(s) you are applying to. There are schools that have a rolling admission decision program, along with ED and EA, that allows the applicant to receive a decision before the notification deadline. As far as schools sending all their rejections in one batch on the deadline, it seems highly unlikely.</p>
<p>The university I applied to is not rolling, but I did apply early decision. Will they tell me of my acceptance before the actual notification date, or does it really depend on the school?</p>
