<p>Good luck to those of you who haven’t found out; if it comforts you, it appears that people fairly close to Alabama - Tennessee here - are getting the letters by mail before the email results come out (I am assuming the University emails the results as well), so if you haven’t heard anything, don’t worry about it. </p>

<p>Oh, just an interesting aside, we had to pay 24 cents for the delivery due to incorrect postage. I’m just happy I paid 24 cents for good news. Lol.</p>

<p>That suggests that the envelope is either heavy or a non-standard size. Fellows needs to know that. Many may have their mail delayed because of that. Some post offices may just return them to Bama. Oh my!!!</p>

<p>I’ve heard it’s in the shape of a DVD or something? UFE may have gotten clever, but didn’t think about the postage implications.</p>

<p>D got her rejection letter today; she hadn’t had a phone interview, so I was expecting that. There was a nice handwritten note on the bottom saying that there were so many other great opportunities at UA besides UFE, which we both agree with!</p>

<p>On a positive note, she did get a UA postcard with “Meet a Few of our National Merit Finalists” today. Hoping that’s a positive sign that she’ll get good news on Feb 9 about her NMF status.</p>

she has definitely made NMF. She would have rec’d a rejection letter a couple of weeks ago if she hadn’t. I’m sure that that postcard from UA indicates that UA has been notified of her NMF status! :slight_smile: </p>

<p>No I didn’t get the phone interview, so I figured this was coming. It’s still disappointing.
No, I only applied to UHP and IHP and just got my acceptance to those yesterday.</p>
