I know seniors are deciding their colleges and most of the people are focusing on this topic but could someone share their admissions profile? I would like one with the lowest SAT to see what could really WOW the admissions people. ND is a top second choice for me which brings me to the question of interviews. I might be visiting some schools since I'm a junior and on my way there i would like to know what impact does a personal interview have on a candidate's application?

SO can someone just pm me their statistics and share with me how their experience through the app process was? I wanna be prepared for my senior year. A lot of people rant on me for trying to be proactive but after seeing the devasted looks on the seniors this year and considering my course load, i wanna wrap up everything that deals with college so i don't end up writing tons of essays on christmas break this year lol =)

Notre Dame doesn’t do personal interviews as part of the admission process. And any good school requires an essay or personal statement, so you will need to write them if you want to go to one of the elite schools.

oh ok thanks (i didn’t know that nd did not consider interviews)
yet when i reviewed the ppl who got in ed; almost everyone was in (or only the ppl who were accepted posted but still). <i wonder…=“”>
<i wonder…=“”>

While ND does not do interviews, you may be able to set up a private meeting with the admissions rep for your area of the country. The more they know you, the better off you are.

can i take an interview during the summer if I’m applying during RD round?

again ND does NOT conduct interviews. it is pointless to call - with their number of applicants they do not do an interview. you can email your regional admissions rep, but I doubt they will conduct any kind of meeting that would represent an interview.
