Hey guys,
I just graduated from Notre Dame in 2007 having majored in Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering with a Materials Science Certificate. I'm currently in law school in NYC. I stumbled across this site online and figured I'd come on here to answer any questions anyone might have about Notre Dame, the Engineering Program, Dorm Life, the city of South Bend or anything else. Remember, there's a lot you can do with an Engineering degree from ND- my cheg (chemical engg) friends have gone on to be lawyers, investment bankers, gone to med school, done business stuff... and of course, worked as engineers or gone to grad school. Good luck to anyone choosing cheg, its a tough, time-consuming major, but very rewarding.

Accepted to Notre Dame, and VERY interested in engineering.
Is there any kind of bio-med engineering at ND?
What is the nanotechnology department like?
How respectable is ND's engineering program in the science world?
Sorry if these questions come off as a bit harsh, they've just been gnawing at me. And if I'm not mistaken, ND isn't necessarily known for it's engineering or sciences, right?
Still very excited about attending though!!!

wait you're accepted?

oooo
