Notre Dame Fall 2014 Transfer Thread

Has anyone heard back about their financial aid package?

@Tfer14 Yeah, I don’t know how I’d react to getting rejected after waiting this long.

Mail just came, still nothing from Notre Dame. Argh this waiting is killing me!

I hate not knowing where I’m going to be in the fall :-S

I called admissions about my acceptance packet since I haven’t received it yet, and they said they mailed it out today via UPS and I should get it by 3 PM today PST time. Hope that helps!

They mailed it UPS today and you’re getting it today?

Yes, that’s what the lady at admissions said

Do you live near South Bend that it would get to you so quickly?

No, I live in Northern California. She said they sent it this morning

That’s weird. I wonder if she meant by 3 pm tomorrow?

Maybe! I guess I’ll find out later today!

Let us know!

I will! Also, she told me my deadline to reply is July 7, so I’m guessing all decisions should be out before then

I know some people posted that their decision deadline was June 23 so maybe they’ll send out more acceptances/rejections based on responses. That might also explain why they said it could be as late as July 15 before some of us hear anything considering you have until July 7 to decide.

@goirishhh‌ I did end up receiving the packet in the mail today

Wow ND had to spend a fortune getting that to you same-day!

I think she was mistaken though because the UPS package says “Next Day Air” haha

Oh haha they must’ve sent it yesterday

Yeah they must’ve sent out another round of decisions because I got a revised acceptance packet in the mail today. The acceptances all are sent through “next day air” so it gets to you fast. They originally told me I needed to take summer classes when I didn’t so my confirmation date has moved from june 23rd to july 7th.

@calistudent1122 how did that happen? so they do reevaluation of whether people should take those summer courses?
