Nothing again today. Do you think acceptances will all be delivered by UPS?

There’s a Facebook page for Notre Dame transfer students, and minus the 30 or so current ND students who are admin on the page, only like 20 people have joined the group. If that’s representative of how many people are committing to Notre Dame, maybe they still have a lot of spaces to fill.

^ I’ve seen that page too. I was finally able to submit spring grades today. Hopefully we all hear something soon :(

Anyone hear anything?

Hey everyone! I know this is probably a very bad time to be chiming in (as there are 19 pages of comments now), but I applied to ND’s College of Arts & Letters as an incoming sophomore transfer student. Long story short, I have yet to receive anything in the mail from Notre Dame. We should be expecting an acceptance letter via UPS or a decline letter via mail, correct?

Yes, that seems to be the method of contact for transfers. UPS for acceptance and mail for rejection. When did you submit your common app?

Fair enough. I submitted both the supplement and application on March 8.

I’m hoping we all hear by the end of the week. This is torture.

Agreed! But then again, patience is a virtue. Hopefully our patience pays off.

Which housing application do we fill out? There are 3 different apps and the confirmation packet doesn’t say which we should fill out. There’s a graduate app (not us), a first year app (not us) and a “waitlist” which they say is for spring transfers, but no mention of fall transfers.

I would contact the director of Residential Life.

@ndtransfer17 how long did it take to receive your confirmation info after you submitted your deposit? It’s probably best to call reslife as @BrwnEyedPrl said. Let us know what they said!

@smd640 about 3 weeks-they hadn’t processed it until a week or two after I sent my deposit.

@smd640 just out of curiosity, what school is your daughter coming from?

@fncrane Saint Mary’s

Res Life said to fill out the waitlist application for housing.

Still no news

Wish I knew if no news is good news…I don’t have a good feeling, but am trying to remain cautiously optomistic

I still haven’t heard back either but I recently remembered that I haven’t sent my final grades from the Spring semester. Maybe neither of you have done so either? Food for thought.

I sent my final spring grades in May.
