There are still a few days left so that’s relieving. I would just make sure that you turned in absolutely everything that you needed to - not assuming you wouldn’t!

There’s actually more than just a few days. Admissions has told applicants it may be as late as July 15 before we know.

I just can’t believe they’re waiting so late… admissions told me that transfers would be notified about the housing lottery by july 15th so I don’t know how that works. And finding off-campus housing so late into the summer is going to be difficult.

If I don’t hear anything tomorrow I might call admissions and ask if they can give me a timeline for when we’ll know. This is crazy.

Just talked to someone in admissions, she said that the target deadline to have everything sent out is July 1 - meaning that we should have a decision by the end of next week.

Awesome, thanks for the heads up.

Received the small envelope today.

@fncrane Wow so sorry! Will you try again for spring?

Same, @fncrane. #sympathizing

@goirishhh I don’t know yet. Depends on whether I get into the school I’m waitlisted at.
@BrwnEyedPrl I’m sorry :(

That’s life! Can’t let rejection letters get the best of me. Good luck with your endeavors!

I was denied today too. Can’t say I was terribly surprised after how last semester went for me. Oh, well! I have plenty to be excited about at my current school, like saving money. And if I’m still interested in Notre Dame, I can try for the spring. Good luck to everyone else!

I got denied late today as well. Good luck to everyone

Is anyone trying for the spring?

I’m so sorry guys. I hope we can all find something that works out.

So sorry for all of you. Did you all get letters? I didn’t get anything, I imagine I will on Monday.

Rejected. I’m not upset though, I was accepted about a month ago to my top choice school anyway. Best of luck to you guys who are still waiting.

Hey guys, I am applying to ND in the spring. I could use some feedback on how my chances are looking.

Creighton University first year GPA: 3.76 (can I round that up to a 3.8?? just curious)
HS GPA: 4.1
ACT: 22 (I know this is crappy but I’m hoping my GPAs can suffice)
I played varsity basketball and tennis in high school
Deans list for both semesters at Creighton
I was also a full-time student manager for the Creighton Men’s Basketball team.

Thanks and Go Irish!!

@AchillesMc your college and high school GPAs look good but your ACT is way low. The transfer pool is pretty competitive and I got rejected with a 31. It might not hurt to retake it. Also you need to work on your ECs. The one thing you listed sounds more like campus employment. ND loves students who volunteer. I’ve seen some really impressive ECs on here for transfer students.

@goirishhh hey thanks a lot for the feedback! Do you think it makes any difference that I didn’t get paid for my managerial duties and that they were all volunteer hours? Also, are you allowed to retake an ACT regardless if you have graduated high school?
