Notre Dame Up With the Ivies in Humanities

This article would lend support:

pretty impressive... whether or not you agree that ND is on par with the Ivies is one thing, but the numbers don't lie about what ND is doing

Actually Notre Dame smokes the competition in humanities:

[Eight professors earn NEH awards; ND leads nation for past nine years // News and Stories // About Arts and Letters // College of Arts and Letters // University of Notre Dame](http://al.nd.edu/about-arts-and-letters/news/eight-professors-earn-neh-awards-nd-leads-nation-for-past-nine-years/)

Ten up on Michigan, 14 ahead of Harvard and double Princeton’s total. That’s not on par, that’s in a different category.

Notre Dame is a top 20 school overall! And lest you think it is not up to par, son’s personal experience came last summer after freshman year. He landed an internship with a local computer software company. The President of the company asked him several times if knew of any other ND students he could hire. All of the hires he had done with regard to students had been from our state Uni. The rest of the interns were all juniors and seniors. Son felt like the Notre Dame name sure went a long way last summer!

People look at me weird when I say Id go to ND over any school in the country… including Harvard, Yale, etc

the only school that I would think twice about is Stanford

its 18th in the country I believe
