a bad score!

Ha, ur not funny.

650ish is my take

Aren't there 54 questions? (40+5+5=50...not 54)

I would say you are looking at a 630-670.

there are only 50 questions

no 54 questions

Post this in the subject tests subforum. And your score isn't looking too good because the curve on the Math I exam is brutal.

because they round, 5 wrong is the same as 4 wrong is the same as 3 wrong is the same as 2 wrong.
but basically you're saying there are 10 points you didn't get, and one negative, so your raw score is a 43.

bxmathteacher, what the hell are you talking about?

Duper: 2 wrong is -.5, rounds to -1
3 wrong is -.75, rounds to -1
and so on.
so he loses the same number of points for 5 wrong as for 2 wrong.

Collegeboard rounds -.5 = 0
-.75 = -1

and so on...

Thank you. You're absolutely correct. So 3 wrong to 6 wrong (instead of 2 wrong to 5 wrong) reduces the raw score by the same 1 point. This dude thinks he got 5 wrong, so he's in the same window either way.

there were 50 questions on this test. not 54. so she got a raw score of 39
