Nov 3 SAT - VERSION 1: Nature of Brain/Hexagon

Okay so did the answer stay the same or did it change. that's all I want to know lol

I was also debating on that one for a while. I read all the options and was like all these make no sense. I think I ended up choosing (A), no error.

Wasn't "Upside down parabolas --- c = -17" Not C but choice E = -17?

I think it was E

rb9109: I think CB marks "were we" as the right answer, but I am not convinced it is the only right answer in terms of actual English grammar and diction.

It really depends on your interpretation of the speaker's attitude.

Is the speaker actually considering changing to a later date an actual possibility?

"Don't you think the second one sounds better? Even if it was just "might", "by changing" sounds really awkward, dont you agree? If I did not put "were we", the only logical way to say it would be:

If we change to a later date, we might not be able to find a place.

And "were we to" is the subjunctive that accomplishes the "if"."

I don't know whether I've been corrupted too much by the French g

what was the sentence reading answer for the african american women... was it foreshadow or constitute? it was like this african american woman and her study about bacteriology and future african american women...

also did anybody get answer "3" for the math problem that had was a graph with one line being the constant rate of change (1 line) and the other line being jagged and the original rate of change
the question was asking for how many of the original rate of change was greater than the constant rate of change
is the answer 2 or 3?

was the upside down parabola the last question on math section!?
was that the one with a dotted line drawn in the parabola....

E= -17 seemed like an answer

chocoholic, i think you are on the wrong versoin of the test

Okay yeah I put E but I don't think that was it now, most cc'ers are disagreeing haha. can only mean one thing

Oh horrors no, I thought A was -17....

Now I want to hit my head against the wall.

I can't get lower than a 750! I just can't!

damn.. English is not a good language..

Well, there are a lot of interpretations and debatable topics related to that writing question, so maybe that section turned out to be experimental?

Oh I hope it did..! D:

Galoisien. A was 25

oh, which writing section was exp.?

ANYWAY....

Whether the sentence deserves to be in the subjunctive or the indicative depends on how you interpret the sentence:

"Were we to change" => We're not seriously considering changing our plans, but suppose if we did for a moment ...

"If we change" => Present dilemma: to change, or not to change?

It was not experimental

was the first writing section with 35 min. experimental? or the second 35min one??

What happened to "by changing"???

I put "by changing." I believe in myself LOL
