Hey guys! I am currently a high school senior and am very interested in medicine. I recently heard about NSU dual admission program for Osteopathic Medicine and started to research about it. Throughout the undergrad years the requirements are 3.4 GPA and a 502 on the MCAT. I have met all criteria for applying to both 3+4 year program and 4+4 year program of 30 composite ACT and 27 composite ACT respectively with a 3.5 weighted high school GPA. I got a 31 on the ACT and my superscore is a 33. My weighted GPA is 4.214.
If you know a lot about this program or are in this program please help me out with the following questions!
- Do I have a good chance of getting into this program?
- Is this a good program to try for? meaning if it is a good program that prepares you for the future?
- If I meet the requirements in undergrad I am automatically accepted into the DO school without another application?
- Are there other BS/DO programs easier to get into? Or are better overall?
- How is the interview process? If you got an interview is it likely for you to get in?
My parents really want me to get into a BS/DO program but I am such a nervous person and am always nervous for interviews and looking for some helpful insight! Thank you so much!!
