the answer is -.953 i believe

A 32 is a low 700 (710-20/30 max…usually 710-20)

45 is a 800 for sure…

Yeah -.9539 is right.

im pretty sure the answer to the last question was -2 - i

ez1994:
I got that too:
10th = 14th = 18th = … = 98th =-1+2i
11th = … = 99th = -2-i = what was asked for
12th = 1 - 2i
13th = 2 + i

Was the last question the geometric sequence with a(n)=a(n-1)*i ? I put -1-2i (something like that). Anyone know where my approach of to determine a(99) is correct? I found a(1) using the formula t(n)=t(1)r^n then substituted that into the formula for r = i and n = 99.

I got -1-2i as well

Yulesh:
Formula is t(n)=t(1)* r^(n-1) not times r^n

For the last one , was the answer choice B (as in -2-i) ?
And for the cos A , sin A = .3 was +.95 an answer choice?

**** there goes my 800

What was the answer asking the 18th term…it was kinda basic sequence. It gave you the third term and the ratio constant (3)?

141421356:
Sorry to say, but yes, +.95 was an answer, too.

can anyone explain how the committee question’s answer was 840?

for the last one, what was the 10th term? -1+2i or -2+i? ugh

sarora:
wasn’t the common ratio -3?

So the last question was B? lol Sweet…guessed because I ran out of time, and seems I guessed right.

@iiClickSend: You have to do 8 C 3 * 6 C 2. So it ends up being 15 * 56 = 840.

@facepalm its -2i-1 you just divide the given term by i

i dont remember the exact numbers, but i did the juniors and seniors for the committee one separately…like find the combination of the juniors first and then multiplied that to the combination of teh seniors one.

facepalm:
the 10th term was given to be -1+2i. You were asked for the 99th term, which I got to be -2-i.

@Techhexium: well I got -1-2i as my answer
@Hiking7610: are you sure the 10th term was -1+2i? if so I must’ve misread…
