@Emblem Did you omit any? I’m trying to figure out the curves.
I also got a 790 in CR and didn’t omit any. I think I got 3 wrong. I also put excuse.
I guess we can conclude that -1=800, -2=800, -3=800, -4=790 and so on. That is a much more generous curve than October, where -4 was 770. I’m a little surprised considering that November seemed much easier than October. Does anyone have a good idea of math/writing curves?
Also, since I don’t think this question warrants its own thread, I’ll just ask it here: Would you guys recommend retaking a 2240 (2330 superscored)?
Gonna focus on math and writing to bring them up to 800s
I guess it’s also safe to say excuse was the right answer. Don’t mean to rub it in but, told you so.
@ambitionsquared No I didn’t omit any
Do you guys really think -3 was 800? That seems pretty lax for what was considered to be one of the easier CR sections of late.
2370, I’m guessing the curve was pretty generous this time, pretty happy now!
Woww…
haven’t been on the site in a long time.
Good thing I didn’t cancel…
CR:710 (ehhh)
M:800 (omit 1 )
W: 710 (went down, but was expected…)Put had woven
10 essay (, essay topics were catcher in the rye/Shawshank redemption)
Composite: 2220
Congrats to everyone who good scores before thanksgiving!
Hi, can someone tell me if my math score will hurt my chances of applying to college for economics or business(its math based to some degree).
Math: 550
Writing:720
Reading:790 9 essay ( so mad about this!!)
@Emblem I think -2 is 800 and -3 is 790 (I got a 790). I may be wrong though.
@dsi411 -3 means 3 omits or 2 guesses+1 omit. You said you didn’t omit, so if you had 3 wrong answers, that would be -4. If -4 is 790, then -3 is almost certainly 800.
You’re probably right.
practice math and writing and read vocab @thenonchosenone
800-Math
780-Writing (76 and 10) 1 question away dang
720-CR Thought I aced this. Don’t know how I missed 6 or so.
Overall:2300. Way better than my October.
Btw what did you guys get to the last Identifying sentence error on the first writing section. #29.
I don’t remember the exact question, but I remember I had to pick between E and some preposition error (I think it was “compared to”. I picked the preposition error. What do you guys think was the answer.
I’m pretty sure that -2 reading was 790, unless someone (non-international) got a 770.
@Marshmallow99 I definitely missed 2, and got an 800.
@CCswami I put compared to as the error.
@dsi411 Did you get No Error or “compared to” for that shark teeth one? And did you say “But others” or “Others” or the improving paragraphs?
