November deadline for Merit Aid?

Can anyone direct me to a list of colleges that have November application deadlines in order to receive merit aid? Thank you!

Look on each college website where you have interest in applying. There are 3000 colleges in this country…do you want us to research all of these for you?

There is a pinned thread above that has scholarship info in it. One of the threads contained in that pinned area is about guaranteed scholarships. There is a link to current information.

I’ve heard of colleges that have a December 1 application deadline for their most competitive scholarships, many by special application…but I personally don’t know of any that have November deadlines.

For example…University of Alabama has a December 1 deadline…all materials must be received for admission, and the scholarship application completed by December 1.

I know that the University of Southern California has a December 1 deadline for merit scholarships. I’m not aware of any pre-existing comprehensive list of deadlines. You really need to make your own list of colleges you’re interested in and then check each college’s website for deadlines. That’s what we did.

I think you are going about this the wrong way. You need to research schools that you think are right for you and then look at when their scholarship deadlines are. if you need merit to attend then any non merit school comes off the list.

We have our list, however there are a few question marks on it. I didn’t want to miss anything with our “maybe” schools. As a result of asking this question on another thread, I found out U. of Pitt. does have a deadline of November 1, That was one of our “maybes”. S would only be applying because he has a good chance of being offered full tuition. Thank you for the feedback.

@veggylover - I don’t think Pitt has Nov 1 deadline. Applying early is highly recommended but I don’t think it’s a deadline per se. UMBC and UMCP also highly recommend Nov 1 date for scholarship consideration.
