**november** sat 2 literature!

let's share tips and problems with literature.. there's only a week left and i just started studying a week ago! lol!! anyways let's just talk about literature.

Any successful tactics? :)?

i can tell you two things i learned from the test in october:

-everyone said study shakespearean sonnets. yeah, there was one sonnet at the end. thats it. a good 2/3 was legitimate stories, not poetry.
-don’t bother with terms unless you have a lot of time on your hands. there was ONE question with terms and i skipped it.

i didn’t study until the night of, and i spent that looking over terms (which was pointless) and i got a 730 which im perfectly fine with. so i guess just read lots of books and poems and pray something you know is on there.
oh and one HUGE tip for paragraphs on SAT CR and SAT II LIT:
***an answer can only be right if the text supports it. lots of times on that test, there were answers that i SO wanted to pick but the ones that didn’t sound quite so right but were supported by the text were the correct ones.

otherwise, good luck :)

My Tip:
Bring some tissues. If it’s anything like this October’s test, the stories/poems will be ery depressing!

Seriosuly though,
Read a little poetry, know your basic terms, and thats about all I can say.

I didn’t really study at all. (Took 1 Practice test) and I got a 710.
:)

i hate poetry. that’s where I screw up all the time.
