November SAT discussions (international)

“For the writing one i chose the “had not been” one.” I meant no error.
And yes for the hexagonal one the answer was E because it showed two non-shaded rectangles joint to each other.

I dunno, when I vacillate between two answers I always end up choosing the wrong one. :(

Doesn’t anyone think it should have been “for whom”?

yes it is E

"I put “for which” as an error. I dunno but it seemed incorrect because I wanted it to say “for whom”. "
The “which” should be referring to the questions and referring to the questions as “whom” would be incorrect.

and also the writing question with sitcoms. part of it said something like this: will be a model of what a sitcom should be. what did you choose? I chose “should be” because I thought it should be “should be like”

Not really.Whom ,whose ,are rarely tested on the SAT…

@Bilguun ,have you taken the test before ?

@abatis
but wouldn’t you say “there wasn’t enough time for him”?

Once in June, why?

Just curious,I think I remember you from the discussions in June.My nick was ‘‘CR7_ManUtd’’ but I forgot my password.I got 1930 in June ,aiming for 2100 now

Oh, that’s why Bulgaria sounded familiar! I indeed was in the June discussions. I got 2140, and am aiming for 2200+ now, which seems quite impossible as I reflect on my answers. :frowning:
Let’s hope our goals are achieved!

It seems that ppl were much more enthusiastic about discussing problems in June. :)

on the math part, there was this other question asking about the students in math and science class or something like that. was the answer 104?

This other question… there were three (i think…) lines, and it asked for u+x+z … something like that… wat was the answer for that?

^^^^^
The answer for u+x+z was 210 I think.

I got 90 for the students question. But I’m not really sure about my answer because I didn’t understand the question very well.

I got 90 for the Math and science students.

Can anyone explain why the 11^325^249^4 is 5 and not 11?

the 2p<x<3p was strange. i put 163

no i think the answer was 90 and not 104. and the u+x+y i don’t remember what was the the other same they gave us if u remember it i can tell u the answer

@martin_sage
11^325^249^4 is 5 and not 11
because
11^3=11* 1111
25^2=55
49^4 =77777*7

so the least prime is 5!

150 smt is wrong for x because the question asks for the percentageee and not he angle. 210 is right i think . and im sure its 90 the one of the students

the least prime is 5

i put 45 for the value of x , but its not the only possible answer 41 , 42 and others are right also

I think the answer was 104. You were supposed to add science only, math only and those who attend both science and math.
