November SAT II US History

I got an 800! Unfortunately, that was 100 points above my other tests I took.

Can someone please respond to my last post? Should I get it rechecked

To be honest, I think you’re being a bit paranoid. lol Considering you got a 700, which is not a bad score, I don’t think there were any mistakes with the grading.

I think I’m going to retake the test in December, might as well try to improve the score and I have more time to review until then too.

are sparknotes tests a good way to practice?

I’m satisfied. But my math 2 (760) and bio-m (790) will count more due to my neurobio or bio major…

i got a 650… considering i never took the AP class and studied for about a day and a half i consider it good. hopefully my 700 on lit will be okay too. i only needed to take these for duke (which although i love the school i know i have about .00001% of getting into and am pretty okay with it) and uva (which i have a slightly better chance of getting into), so I really don’t feel like putting in the added stress and effort to retake. im just worried that it could possibly hurt me haha.

@crackmaster I used the Sparknotes book and practice tests and a lot of the material in the book really helped, I had to learn the entire 20th century from the book and more since my class was only at the end of reconstruction by the time I took the test. The test’s from the book were fairly difficult, but probably a bit easier than the actual SAT: I scored like 720 in the book and I got a 700 on the actual test so not a huge difference. I would say Sparknotes is excellent, but I didn’t use anything else so I have nothing to compare it to…

If you don’t mind answering, how many did you miss on the test? I want to see how the curve compares to the practice test.

bump, just curious how the scale compares to the official practice test

I’m unsure crackmaster…

Is anyone (re)taking it tomorrow?

Although I now have learned about the New Deal in school, I still don’t know a lot of pre-columbian history or post-WWII history. :frowning: any tips?

I got a 780. Pretty happy.
And for those who asked about Sparknotes, I would say their tests are pretty good preparation. I think they’re a bit harder. I got like 20-50 points lower on the practice tests than on the real thing.
