Nothing too amazing (although heaps better than me), but if your essays and short answers are good, I’d say you have a good chance. 8.5 will be my base, but that can vary from as low as a 2 to as high as a 10. It all depends on your writing.

I felt my essays were at least above average…though I wouldnt say they were flat out amazing. At the very least, they read smoothly and were engaging.

I think it’s a solid chance, but that doesn’t mean much since similar/“better” people have been rejected as well. You are still probably looking at a 7.98% chance.

Experience with the paper route will have some serious leverage… LOL

Ok, in all honestly you seem to be a really good candidate in terms of Stats and ECs (definitely above average); it’s all up to your essays to convey your unique personality and your drive to succeed; what makes you stand out from the 30,000 other applicants?

Stanford is on personality and determination, and the main way to prove that is through your essays; better people have gotten rejected, worse people have gotten accepted

ide say your chances are ok
you have a great profile,
but everything u do screams out, “I AM A NERD”
stanford looks for cooler kids that are more interesting
and not carbon copies of their parent’s wet dreams

umm im not sure how to respond to your bottom post. I have a great deal of respect for SADD. At my school its an outstanding organization that really does help some students with drinking issues. Why would you call me a dork/judge me based upon what a club does at your school? Additionally, I am by no means “a carbon copy of my parent’s wet dream.” My parents both attended a nobody school in Omaha, Nebraska and really don’t want me to attend a top 20 school. I am indeed my own person…gasp.

As an admit, I’ll agree with the posts above me in advising you not worry about your statistics or ECs at this point. You know as well as I do that these factors will not be grounds for rejection in any way, shape, or form. You have essentially built a foundation for your acceptance. Now, your fate will all lie in those essays and how well you conveyed your interests, activities, personality, quirks, and at the end of it all, the unifying themes behind all these.

I’d also like to respond to the whole “your chances are unpredictable” thing: Based on solely his/her stats, I can 100% assure everyone that what was posted in this chance thread will VERY PREDICTABLY keep the OP in the running. Because statistically inferior students are obviously accepted, I find that this chance thread is almost entirely useless. The decisions threads have shown, time and time again, that the subjective factors act as the fine-toothed comb that picks up applicants so to speak and not the perfect numbers. Anyway, repeated assertions aside, I wish the OP the best of luck.

I agree your solid, but Stanford is such a toss up with admissions who knows. Obviously you are qualified, but 75% of applicants are. Good luck though, no point stressing now because there isn’t anything else you can do.
