So... chances at:
UIUC
USC
UC Berkeley
UCSD
UCLA
Rice

Please?

other safety schools, I won't mention.

Thanks in advance guys =)

I'm seeing the UC GPA as somewhat lower than your calculation, though I could be wrong. At any rate, you have a strong GPA, good scores (minus the writing), and good ECs.

Berkeley: high match - match
UCLA: match
UCSD: safety
USC: safe match
UIUC: safe match - safety
Rice: match, granted that your essays are great

Thanks david. Well, the UC GPA (and UC Rank), school calculates for us (a lot of our seniors go to UC's), so I am almost sure these are right.
Any more?? Bump!

So wait, if you have no Green Card/citizenship, aren't you considered an international in terms of admission?

I believe so, because UCSD (or LA I forgot) representative said I would be considered as international in UC.

Many schools calculate the UC GPA for the students, and very often it's incorrect.

I didn't see the "no" before "green card" (separate lines). As an international, your chances are hurt. Berkeley and UCLA are reaches. UCSD is a slight reach to reach. You have a better shot at USC and Rice. Not sure about UIUC for internationals. (Berkeley's acceptance rate for internationals was 10%.)

uiuc is very foreign accepting school...

Our school does it correct; I calculated it. Eng 10 Gate is weighted. I guess I ll shoot for private schools

490(where im at) to a 590 on the next test for CR?? how the hell did u do that? plz share ur secret =(

I memorized vocabs like crazy... 50~100 a day (of course I don't remember all). And staying in AP English etc helped me i guess. Oh, and practice a lot!!
