now that I know that USC takes superscore...

My November '09 SAT score was 2100 (CR 640 W 670 M 790), and my December '09 SAT was 2020 (CR 610 W 690 M 740). Yes, my second one was lower :( but my superscore is 2120.

But since USC takes superscores... should I send both of them even though my second one's lower? Or should I just stick with 2100 since it's only 20 pt difference anyway?

Please answer D:

My understanding is that USC also doesn’t accept score choice, so I’d send them both.

They prefer that if you send any SAT scores, you send them all, because of the superscoring. Having a lower score does not hurt you because basically they just throw out all parts that are lower than your other test.

I.E. I sent them a 33 and a 28 ACT, and I’m not worried, so I don’t think you should have any reason to be.

While 20 points isn’t a major difference, if you really want to get into USC, sending both can only help you as far as I know.

Do they superscore the ACT too? Cause I got a 27 the first time, but my english and math scores were both higher than when I took it the second time and got a 30.

USC does not superscore the ACT, only the SAT

Ah well. Fair enough. I averaged everything and I still end up with a 30.25, which I’m assuming would still equal a 30, so it probably doesn’t matter anyway. Not to mention, a 29 and a 30 on the English are pretty much the same thing.

Most private colleges take the best scores on the SAT.
