Now we wait until November 15 for TAG decisions to come out.

^ Maximum is $14 trillion units. So far only Obama reached that…

chuckle You really think a 2.4 GPA, 60 transferable units, 2 Eng Composition, 1 Math, 4 other GE that almost anyone could do could get you into a UC 100%? I doubt Merced would even accept that lol. Just a joke, no offense.

You need to get at least a 3.0 GPA to be competitive to some majors in the mid-tier UCs :slight_smile:
And you can have a gazilion units, as long as they all come from CCC. If it comes from a combination of CCC and another 4-year, then yes, what you just ask is correct, more than a certain number = rejected

sparkyboy, ha was it the black girl?

wow WTH. So there is no way to get rejected for student comes from ccc X.X

@kitty: No, for Cal it’s a Chinese one. She’s humorous :)

I’m officially confused…
There are $14 million ways they can reject you…

I mean for the TAG program, not the regular application. If i meet those minimum requirement, i should be fine right?

TAG is open to all majors. To be eligible for TAG, you must meet the following criteria at the time of TAG application:

Completed minimum 30 UC transferable semester units.
Minimum 3.0 UC transferable GPA.
First English Composition (UC-E) course must be completed by Fall 2011. Second English Composition must be completed by Spring 2012.
One transferable Math (UC-M) course must be completed by Fall 2011.

Gahhhhh you should have clarified.
Then the answer to your question is yes. 100% as long as you meet all the requirement
Disregard all my jokes lol =[[

LOL at $14 trillion units…yeeeeah.

T-39 Days left

UCKitty is right. I was just reading the detailed TAG info on the Davis website and it says that TAG decisions will be out BY Nov. 15.

T-38

Did anyone get a confirmation from the tagging UC that they have your app?

^this one?

@UCkittychen
yeah thats the one I finally found it in my inbox :D

i got this message from my counselor in my TAG messages:

My counselors didn’t even bother getting in contact with me lmao.

@ Kittychen

do you even know which counselor that is? everytime I go see a counselor, it’s a new face.
and also some schools like mine don’t need counselor approval for the apps to go through.

Do we need a counselor approval? I just submitted my TAG by myself…oops. :/

^ depend on which UC

Just visited UCSC for their preview day and am really excited about getting the approval of my TAG!

Probably a better idea to submit my app AFTER I hear approval from my TAG, right?

^yeah, because their is an option in the UC app.

the counselor was a special TAG-oriented counselor at my school, who works with the Davis Rep.

& yes, i heard as well only certain schools do the counselor approval, obviously UCSC as well.

@anythinggoes, was it really nice? i wanted to go, me & sparkyboy, but ehhhh, won’t their be event’s next year. I’m far too busy with school, catching up and pushing my drinking/high influences away. blahhh
