I heard East gets crazy, even though i am a big partier, i don't know if i can survive without going crazy.. i really do need to study from now on

what kind of clothes should i pack?

What kind of furnitures or stuff do i need to bring to my dorm?

I’d say go for Pollock or South is you want to study. My D is somewhat of a partier but had issues with the shenanigans going on in East first semester and moved to Pollock for second semester.

Boys tend not to bring too, other than a rug (4X6 will fit in all rooms; don’t buy a rug bigger than that or it may not fit). A dark colored rug is better.

State College is cold for more than 6 months of the year, so bring plenty of winter clothes, including a heavy winter coat. My D presently has very few spring clothes up there now; I am travelling up there later this month to exchange the winter for spring clothes, which she will wear for what is left of the semester.

Don’t plan on buying to much for your dorm room. Most rooms are small and storage is a problem.Storage shelving units, storage under the bed, bed risers are all good. It’s cold and you do a lot of walking. Good shoes, warm boots, and winter gear.

FTCAP testing postcards are sent out in order of students acceptances of admission. Dates available for on campus FTCAP evaluation and registration are based on the date the student completes his/her FTCAP testing. So, the sooner one turns in the acceptance of admission with deposits, the sooner one receives the postcard for FTCAP testing. The sooner one completes FTCAP testing, the sooner one can schedule on campus FTCAP day and scheduling. The sooner one schedules, the more options are available for couse selections.
