Hello everyone. I am reapplying to the Naval Academy after being waitlisted last year. I go to the University of Virginia and I am in the NROTC program there and I was wondering how to actually go about getting an NROTC nomination. I have looked all over the Academy website and it says to go to your CO, headmaster, or advisor. My year group advisor did not know what to do, nor does my B&G Officer. Is there some sort of form that needs to be filled out or what? Please help!

From the USNA Catalog:

Naval Reserve Officers Training Corps (NROTC, NJROTC, MCJROTC);
Naval, Marine Corps, Air Force, and Army Honor Units with Distinction
Twenty appointments annually are available through nominations from these programs. Apply to: your senior military instructor, professor of naval science or headmaster.

Your unit CO should be able to assist you with obtaining a nomination. If the unit doesn't know how to proceed with a nomination, you should request assistance from the Candidate Guidance Office.
