Hello, I am currently a High School student trying to get the NROTC Scholarship. I am interested in studying Nuclear Engineering at Penn State and have a 3.5 GPA and got a 32 on the ACT, with 34s in math and science. I am also a 4 year cross country and track runner, and am captain for both teams this year. I am also currently in AP Calc and Honors Physics. What are my chances of getting the scholarship? And also I have completed the online application, but how to I schedule the officer interview? Thank you!
Are you currently a Senior? If so you are quite late to start the process. In order to maximize your chances you should have had the app in and the officer interview completed by Aug 31!
Yeah I found out about it a bit late, but I am trying my best to still get it in as early as I can with what I’m working with!
