<p>I just sent in my scholarship packet about a week ago and was wondering if anyone else applied for this scholarship? I found previous year's threads for the scholarship but no one started one this year so here it is!</p>

<p>No problem! I heard that it’s extremely competitive with less than 20% of people getting accepted. Well this is the information I got from the threads from previous years. Did you get an e-mail back from them saying they received your packet? Also, are you a girl (I guessed from the username with Ally in it)? Because I’m a girl too ^_^</p>
<p>My son applied and did receive an email stating they had received his information. He is an AA male.</p>

<p>Yes I’m a girl! I only received the follow up email, nothing since. But from previous years’ threads it looks like they don’t release anything until the spring.</p>
<p>My S applied for this as well. Let us know if anyone gets updates for this, but from past threads a lot of people were waiting for “mid-february”</p>

<p>Spring?! Oh lord… I was looking through previous threads too and they talked about February. Or was that just when they started choosing semi-finalists?</p>
<p>From old threads, it sounded like semi-finalists were picked in February, but finalists were picked later.</p>
<p>Are undergraduate students allowed to apply for this?</p>
<p>I believe the deadline has passed for this but there are other programs similar to this for undergrads.</p>
