I applied for Stokes, but haven’t heard anything. My parents are stunned because if they need to “process” winners before summer, that’s a really tight timeline. Has anyone heard? Let’s keep this thread open so all can post about Stokes status.
Also, here are my stats, let me know yours:
Major: EE
SAT: 2270 (old)
ACT: 35
GPA: 4.0 unweighted
AP classes: 12, all 5s for ones completed (BC calc, AP Phys 1 & 2, AP Lang, AP Gov, AP Stat, AP World)
Class rank: top 1% in class of 400
My son applied as well and hasn’t heard anything. From what I’ve been able to tell the next steps in previous years haven’t happened until January or February. Hopefully you all will start to hear something soon. Best of luck to you!
Has anyone else who was selected as a finalist and completed the Conditional Job Offer forms package heard back about whether or not they were selected for the program? The email we received stated that the positions would be finalized around May 1st, but I have yet to receive any correspondence regarding my current standing.
@ethanwatson4 I got a letter in the mail from the NSA that stated that they were unable to offer me employment, extremely cut and dry. The Stokes scholarship office didn’t respond to any of my emails requesting confirmation that I didn’t get the scholarship, so I guess that’s the end of my hopes here
