Stokes Educational Scholarship Program (NSA) Class of 2019

Hey everyone! I just received an Email that let me know I would be granted a phone interview for the Stokes NSA scholarship. Has anyone else applied? Heard anything back? In any case, does this mean that everyone that received this Email was selected as a semifinalist? I look forward to all of your replies.

I received the email that I am selected as a semi finalist and asked me to submit forms on their system and they will schedule polygraph and other tests… does it mean if all tests are clear one gets the scholarship or there is further filtering? do you know when teh final results are declared? before May1?

My son got the email saying he is a semifinalist. Does anyone know what the odds of getting into this scholarship program might be? It sucks that a decision will not be made until May, this scholarship money would change the college selection for him.

following… if any one has any updates ? My daughter submitted her video interview 10 days back and we have not heard back…

I submitted my interviews about 2 weeks ago. Did you have the background investigation thing too with a condition job offer? (My friend who got in last year said that it is either neutral or a good thing) B.I. are expensive and i think they have to manually request it.

Also regarding the polygraph, my friend said that the CJO is generally that you are in, you just need to actually get the security clearance before being able to get the final job offer. They did say the order was strange because they USUALLY do interviews first, then you get the CJO and security forms then final job offer. I was informed the team went through restructuring or something so that is why things are so late and probably why things are out of order. Just let me know if you hear anything else.

We are also waiting to hear after CJO and online interview. Although someone contacted last week seeking some additional documents for clearance, so i guess it is in works. What find of final job offer did your friend got last year?

The final job offer is the program itself. I talked to them recently, and was asking questions etc. They said that usually it is interview > cjo > final (once you pass clearance) but something is off. They did make sure to point out that the cjo and clearance work itself is EXTREMELY expensive and so it should be a good sign because it has to be manually requested. They said the interview part, in their opinion, is just for bureaucracy sake.

Has anyone received an FJO, final job offer, yet?

As of now, no. Anyone else?
