<p>I got my email on the 17th. I haven’t heard anything since, but I assume they are rather busy with the other 175-or-so people too.</p>
<p>I received my email taking about a phone interview on the 17th. No call yet, though.</p>
<p>Just got called and disqualified for substance use after I said I smoked marijuana a few months ago. For future reference, apparently you have to be completely drug-free (including weed and prescription drugs with the intent to get high) for a year before the call. I don’t care, I’ve got a full scholarship offer from my top choice anyway where they won’t wreck me if I try weed every once in a while.</p>

<p>I’m not gonna turn this into a legalization debate topic, but:</p>
<p>I don’t criticize people who choose to be straight-edge, and about half of my friends are. Don’t criticize people who make the choice to consume substances. I’m one of the top students in the country in my field and I can smoke whatever I damn well please. Life is short, live it however you want.</p>

<p>I got my e-mail a few days back too. I seriously thought I wasn’t a semifinalist. :)</p>

<p>I got called by them today. A 410 number just so you all know. It was basically a security thing asking me to verify my life. Lol. I’ll be getting an email tomorrow he said.</p>
<p>I got a letter from FedEx and it was from the NSA! I received a conditional offer of employment with a pretty nice base salary for someone who’s just getting out of high school. Yay!</p>
<p>ckay, where do you live? I still haven’t recieved the letter and I was called like 2 weeks before you.</p>

<p>Okay so I filled out all the security forms and even did a follow-up questionaire that they sent by email. </p>

<p>so im going to be heading to maryland this weekend for the interview/processing day, anybody else here know what i should be prepared for or what to expect?</p>
<p>and if you havent gotten a notification yet praying mantis, what happened for me was they sent me an email to specify some problems with the forms, then got my email saying i would be going out there a few days later.</p>
<p>Any updates from anyone? I am looking to apply for next year. Do they only consider minorities?</p>
