I recently came across this NSA scholarship and am very interested. Is anybody familiar with it? It looks like they give you a full ride anywhere you go (as a math, computer science, or language major) as long as you work for them for 6 years afterward. How qualified do you have to be in order to be considered? How competitive is it? Would it keep you from attending grad school? If anyone has applied for/won this scholarship or just knows about it, I'd appreciate it if you could give me some more information about it. Thanks.

Scroll down for info on this program in particular. Note that it targets minority high school students (their words). Freshmen must declare a major in computer science, or computer or electrical engineering; if one starts the program as a college sophomore, the majors can include math, Farsi or Arabic, or a few other intelligence-related subjects.

I don't know how it would impact attending graduate school, but that is a very important question.

some previous threads on the Stokes Scholarship:

Thanks guys...just what I was looking for.
