<p>ed applicants usually weed themselves out so the statistics are kind of skewed. The school may admit more ed applicants more on the basis that they are more qualified than the fact the they applied early. Also, ED applicants can generally afford it. It is important to remmeber that private schools are pretty much a business. not that there's anything wrong with that, but...</p>
